Firstly, my heart goes out to everyone and I truly hope that you are keeping well and managing this situation as well as possible. Secondly, thank you for the continued support throughout all of this, it is genuinely meaningful and ever so appreciated at this difficult time.
The United Kingdom government announced a lockdown of the country starting March 23rd 2020 and as such I have ceased our face-to-face operations including all safaris, tours, photo workshops and talks.
If you have purchased a Gift Voucher from us these were due to expire at the end of 2020. I am removing the expiry on these indefinitely so as soon as we and yourself are able to do so you will be able to use your voucher without any issues, at any time.
I certainly understand the importance of nature in people’s lives. For me personally it is medicinal, spiritual and educational and as such I am still determined to bring the beauty and wonder of nature to you.
I am working on a novel approach of producing a short series of books (produced in the traditional Zine style) that are lovingly printed and hand made by myself. I will also be launching our first series of greeting cards in due course. I will undertake photo-projects from home so keep an eye out for updates with those and I will be creating a Wildlife Stories project collating stories from around the world to share with you all.
As many of you know I operate Spirit of Suffolk independently. I am in a shielding scenario with family members with whom I live and as such I am taking extra precautions regarding the coronavirus. I am hoping that the impact on our customers is minimal and that the customer service I strive to provide remains unaffected. You can still contact me through the contact form on this website as well as through our social media platforms.
Finally, thank you for your patience and understanding through this period. It has certainly come at a tricky time for us, just a week after we had our first safaris and wildlife tours of the season! But we will get through this and I am already excited for taking people out into the wonders of the Suffolk countryside when we can.
For now, take care.
With love, Philip Charles.
