About this Workshop
It is remarkable the power of the technology that now sits in many peoples pocket.
This 5 hour workshop will begin by introducing the basics of Smartphone photography including what to think about when purchasing a new phone. This leads us into the practical aspect of smartphone photography looking at compositional elements that will improve the results of your images. Following a practical task we will then discuss the importance of light and the impact this will have on your smartphone images. We wrap up the session by looking at editing your images on your smartphone and have a discussion on getting the most out of social media.
I have been tracking the use and feasibility of mobile phone photography in relation to their comparison with DSLR cameras and I now believe the technology and results are matched in many ways. For this reason I am ready and excited to deliver this new Smartphone Photography workshop.
Places are limited to 6 people and the session is led using an outdoor classroom in a beautiful Suffolk woodland setting. There is an adjacent classroom that we can use if the weather is not in our favour. Toilets are available throughout and I will be on brew duty during the break!
The price of this workshop is £25 per person.
